The main themes at the meeting are expected to be the outlook of the world economy, additional IMF resources, IMF surveillance and the priorities for IMF’s work for the coming six months. The Nordic-Baltic IMF-constituency, which Denmark is a member of, will be represented by minister for economic affairs and the interior, Margrethe Vestager, at the meeting. As ECOFIN Chairwoman, the minister will also represent the EU at the meeting.
