Education, Youth, Culture and Sport
The Council (Education, Youth, Culture and Sport) works to ensure a high standard of education and vocational training and to contribute to the flourishing of national cultures. This is done while fully respecting the responsibility for teaching content, structure of education systems and maintaining cultural diversity within the Member States. The Council consists of the Ministers of Education, Youth, Culture and Sport and meets three to four times a year.
