Best of Danish Film

01.03.2012  -  31.03.2012

The Barbican Centre and the British Film Institute show some of Danish film history's best films, documentaries, films for children and young people, and Danish classics.

In cooperation with the British Film Institute (BFI) and the Barbican Centre, the Danish Embassy in London shows some of the best Danish films in the categories Best Danish Features, Best of Danish Documentaries, Best of Danish Films for Children & Youth, Best of Danish Classics.

In connection with the opening of "Best of Danish Film", the Danish Embassy organises a seminar where Danish filmmakers are invited to London to present their films.

For the youngest audience it will also be possible to get closer to Danish film in the spring. The Barbican Centre will screen selected Danish children’s films in connection with their Family Film Club every Saturday in March 2012.  The Barbican Centre is Europe's largest multi-arts centre and will expand its capacity in 2012 with two new cinemas.
