In Tallinn, cinema Artis on 23-30 March and in Tartu, Genialistide Klubi on 26-28 March Danish film week brings to the audiences a selection of recent Danish films.
Sampo Pank presents the festival that is organised by the Danish Embassy and the Danish Cultural Institute to mark the Danish EU Presidency in the first half of 2012. The range of films spreads from fiction to animation, from children's to youth films, from contemporary stories to the historic tales. On 29 March, the same day as in Denmark, Tallinn will see the premiere of "A Royal Affair", the recent Danish success at Berlin Film Festival where it won awards for best actor (Mikkel Boe Følsgaard) and best screenplay.
