Luxembourg City Film Festival, Discovery Zone, takes place from 1. - 9. of March 2012.
Discovery Zone stands out as film festival with its original program and promotion of creativity in Luxembourg together with offering special films for children. Furthermore Discovery Zone has the event, Open Discovery, which focuses on different countries and regions. This time the special focus is on Nordic films, which includes:

18.30: Ciné Utopia
Showing of the movie Ti timer til Paradis (In English Teddy Bear) by the instructor Mads Matthiesen.
Teddy Bear is a recently announced prise winner from the Sundance Film Festival 2012. Head of Department, Klaus Bondam, from The Danish Cultural Institute/Benelux, will give a brief introduction to Danish film culture before the showing of the film. After the film busses will bring you from Ciné Utopia to CarréRotondes for free.
20.30: CarréRotondes
Jeudiscoveryzone starts with loungeparty in CarréRotondes: entrance and welcome drink for the audience from the showing of Teddy Bear at Ciné Utopia for free. An exciting 3D show brings cuts from the film festival.
Later on the film festival opens up for additional guests, and a Danish band, partly sponsored by The Danish Cultural Institute/Benelux, will perform. During the evening Discovery Zone’s winner of the Critical Prize will be announced.
It is going to be a spectacular evening with Danish film and music!
