With "Mobility of Avoidance" CoreAct focuses on the everyday choices we choose not to make. "Mobility of Avoidance" reminds us of the times when we avoid turning our values into action. There will be five daily performances.
The show is framed by sculptures in bright colours produced by the American artist Tom Fruin, who is well-known for exploring alternative substances and materials. By using Plexiglas from an old warehouse, he has created a large mosaic installation where light and sound are constantly changing. Lighting designer Nuno Neto (Portugal) and sound artist Astrid Lomholt (Denmark) have built an independent world where sound and light react to bypassers’ movements in the house when the show is in progress. The house will stand as a colourful and changeable performance between the old building and the new building at the National Theatre in Prague.
