The Danish Presidency will in collaboration with the International Catholic Migration Commission (ICMC) be organizing a “look and learn” visit to Denmark on 11-14 June 2012. The purpose will be to get practitioners from both authorities, international organizations and the civil society to exchange experiences and best practices in relation to resettlement of refugees. The visit will include a visit to the municipalities of Faxe and Fåborg, which have good experiences with integration of resettled refugees. The primary objective of the visit is to increase the number of EU countries participating in the resettlement programs. The event is a part of the project “Linking in EU resettlement” implemented by the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and ICMC and supported by the EU Commission. The event is not open for registrations.
