It is tradition for the Member State holding the EU Presidency to host a plenary meeting of the European Judicial Network in criminal matters (EJN). The meetings are attended by national contact points for the EJN, prosecutors from the Member States and the Commission. The plenary meeting in Denmark will focus on the use of Joint Investigation Teams when investigating and prosecuting cases with a cross border dimension and of an organised nature.
