The Copenhagen Fashion Summit 2012 is the world's largest summit on sustainability and fashion. On May 3rd around 800-1000 key industry players, CSR experts, public servants, and high-level politicians gather to identify new opportunities and forward-looking solutions for the global fashion industry to tackle the challenges facing our planet.
At the Copenhagen Fashion Summit 2012, the United Nations are to launch a brand new sector specific initiative under the Global Compact program. On an EU level, the Copenhagen Fashion Summit is the culmination of an intense crowd sourcing process, outlining a number of concrete policy options on sustainable fashion that will be presented to the Danish EU Presidency.
Also, a talented group of young designers and business school students from different EU Member States will present their future vision for sustainable fashion. Furthermore, the Copenhagen Fashion Summit presents a line up of world leading capacities on the field of sustainability and fashion.
