The Danish Minister of Justice, Morten Bødskov, together with the American Minister of Justice and the American Minister for Homeland Security host a press conference on 21 June 2012 at 12.00 following the EU-US Ministerial meeting in the field of Justice and Home Affairs.
On 21 June 2012, the Minister of Justice and President of the Justice and Home Affairs Council, Morten Bødskov will be hosting a ministerial meeting in Copenhagen between the EU and the US. During the meeting the ministers will discuss current topics in the area of Justice and Home Affairs of common interest for the EU and the US. Mutual legal assistance, data protection, migratory policies, combating IT-crime and the fight on terrorism will be among the key topics discussed during the meeting. The Danish Minister is expecting the meeting to reach an agreement on the overall framework for a new Global Alliance Against Child Sexual Abuse Online.
Following the meeting, the Danish Minister of Justice together with the American Minister of Justice and the American Minister for Homeland Security will host a press conference. The EU Commissioners for both Justice and Home Affairs will also be participating.
The press conference will take place at 12.00-12.30, June 21 2012 at First Hotel Skt. Petri, Krystalgade 22, 1172, Copenhagen.
