On 3 July Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt will participate in the European Parliament’s plenary session where the Prime Minister is invited to take stock of the Danish EU Presidency. During the visit to Strasbourg the Prime Minister will also be meeting with the presidents of the four largest political groups in Parliament.
On 5 July the Prime Minister will participate in the opening ceremony which officially marks the beginning of Cyprus' Presidency of the Council. During her visit to Cyprus the Prime Minister will meet with President Demetris Christofias.
