Running Copenhagen
Put on your running shoes and tour the city. ‘Running Copenhagen’ organise sightseeing running tours and have designed an EU themed running tour in cooperation with the Danish Presidency of the Council of the EU. On a 5 km tour, participants will be introduced to the political centre of Copenhagen and, of course, can enjoy good old fashioned sightseeing.
This tour is ideal for exercising and experiencing Copenhagen despite a busy schedule as well as a superb way to get your bearings in the city and the locations of the many ministries. The EU tours will commence in January 2012 and will take place several times a week.
The pace will be adjusted to the participants, but as a minimum you should be able to run 5.30 min/km.
Show Your Badge
The tourist organisation Wonderful Copenhagen has gathered together a selection of shops, restaurants, bars, and other attractions that offer international meeting and conference participants exclusive advantages such as discounts, special offers or free entrance during the Danish Presidency.
As a delegate to any official meeting in Denmark during the Presidency, all you have to do is show your conference badge to any of the Copenhagen establishments listed on showyourbadge.dk
