The debate takes place ahead of the informal meeting among the Heads of State or Government in Brussels 23 May. Les ministres de l'économie et des finances des Vingt-sept se concerteront demain 15 mai 2012 sur la question de la recapitalisation des banques dans l'UE et devraient accepter le compromis que la présidence danoise de l'UE avait déjà présenté à l'occasion d'une réunion extraordinaire du Conseil ECOFIN le 2 mai dernier. Ils devraient également adopter les conclusions du Conseil relatives au rapport concernant les problèmes économiques liés au vieillissement de la population (« Ageing Report 2012 »), et dialoguer avec les pays en voie d'adhésion et les pays candidats pour discuter de la situation économique et des politiques mises en œuvre par ces derniers, comme ils le font régulièrement une fois par an.
